On Tuesday, May 23, 2005, at approximately 10:15 pm, William Jones was shot and killed in the 400 block of Newcomb Street, SE. The suspect in this shooting is described as a black male wearing a dark-colored security guard uniform wth a white shirt. The patches on the uniform may have had yellow on them. The suspect vehicle in this incident is described as a small, white security car with an emblem on the passenger side door. The emblem is believed to be circular in shape. The Metropolitan Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in gathering information regarding this incident.
