On Saturday, March 13, 2004, during the early morning hours, members of the Third District received a radio assignment for a stabbing inside Between Friends Club, located at 1115a U St., NW. Upon their arrival they discovered George Barnes unconscious and unresponsive. The Metropolitan Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in gathering information regarding this incident.
