On Saturday, July 3, 2010, at approximately 12:45 am, Joshua Elijah Hopkins was shot in the 6100 block of Banks Place, NE (Watts Park). Mr. Hopkins died of his injuries on Sunday, July 4, 2010. The Metropolitan Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in gathering information regarding this incident.
