At approximately 10:27 pm on Thursday, May 17, 2007, 54-year-old David F. Harris was in the rear of 7304 Blair Road, NW, with a group of people. It was at this time that he was struck by a male subject and fell to the ground. Mr. Harris was taken to the Washington Hospital Center’s MedStar Unit suffering from apparent head trauma. At approximately 9:30 pm on Friday, May 18, 2007, he was pronounced dead as a result of his injury. The Metropolitan Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in gathering information regarding this incident.
