On Saturday, June 26, 2004, at approximately 8:30 am, Ray Charles was found shot to death inside of the apartment building at 1936 3rd Street, NE. The Metropolitan Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in gathering information regarding this incident.
The case is under investigation by members of the Department’s Violent Crimes Branch.
