MPD Searching for Southeast Burglary Suspect

The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the community’s assistance in locating a suspect involved in a burglary in Southeast.
 
On Monday, March 31, 2025, at approximately 8:36 p.m., multiple suspects approached the victim in the 800 block of Barnaby Street, Southeast. One of the suspects pointed a gun at the victim and forced the victim back inside of their residence. Once inside the suspects demanded property from the victim. The victim complied before the suspects fled the scene. The victim was not injured during the incident.

Anyone who can identify this suspect and/or vehicle or who has knowledge of this incident should take no action but call police at (202) 727-9099 or text your tip to the Department's TEXT TIP LINE at 50411.  The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a violent crime committed in the District of Columbia.
