Rhonda Robinson

Director, Court Liaison Division

Rhonda Robinson serves as the director of the Court Liaison Division, Metropolitan Police Department. The Court Liaison Division coordinates officer participation in court-related proceedings and maintains communication with our partner agencies in the criminal justice system.

Ms. Robinson began her career with the Metropolitan Police Department in July 2018 as a Supervisory Investigator in the Applicant Investigations Division. In this role, she was responsible for the day-to-day operations of the background investigative team. In November 2020, she assumed the role of Program Manager in the Court Liaison Division. She was designated the acting director of the CLD in 2022 and promoted to director in April 2023.

Before joining MPD, Ms. Robinson spent over 20 years in leadership roles with various security solution providers in the private and federal government sectors. In these roles, she supported the federal government in a broad range of areas with a focus on National Security.

Ms. Robinson holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Pennsylvania State University and a Master of Forensic Science from George Washington University.

Ms. Robinson enjoys spending time with family and friends. She is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.
