Brandy Cramer

Position/Title: 
Director, Analytical Services Division

Ms. Cramer is an executive level leader with over 18 years of public sector experience in strategic planning, change management, and crisis management for the purpose of supporting criminal justice and public safety. Ms. Cramer began her career with the District of Columbia Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) as an analyst and advanced to division director. She has extensive experience in data analytics, system development and integration, and data driven solutions. Ms. Cramer was a contributor to the Washington Navy Yard After-Action Report which led to the development of an enhanced response to mass fatality incidents in the District. While employed with the Inspector General, she became a Certified Fraud Examiner authorized to prevent, detect, and investigate fraud utilizing investigative techniques and designing effective anti-fraud programs. As the Chief of Staff at the DC Department of Forensic Sciences, she led ANAB reaccreditation efforts for the Forensic Sciences Laboratory. She currently serves as a Director, Analytical Services, in the Real Time Crime Center with MPD.

Ms. Cramer has received numerous awards to include the Executive Service & Management Supervisory Service Leadership Award and an Achievement Medal for outstanding service to the citizens of the District of Columbia and contributions to the MPD. Ms. Cramer holds a master’s degree in Forensic Psychology from Marymount University
