MPD Makes Arrest in Southeast Shooting

The Metropolitan Police Department announces the arrest of a suspect in a fatal shooting in Southeast.

On Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at approximately 10:06 a.m., officers responded to the 3700 block of Alabama Avenue, Southeast, for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male, inside of a residence, suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

The decedent was identified as 20-year-old Korey Glasker, of Southeast, DC.

On Sunday, March 9, 2025, the suspect, 36-year-old Korin Agnew, was located and arrested during a traffic stop in the Sixth District pursuant to a D.C. Superior Court arrest warrant. Agnew was charged with First Degree Murder while Armed.
