On Saturday, January 26, 2019, at approximately 10:00 pm, a shooting occurred in the 1500 block of Fort Davis Place, SE. As a result of the shooting, Mr. Javon Abney was killed, along with two other victims, Mr. Sean Shuler and Mr. Tyrik Hagood. The Metropolitan Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in gathering information about this homicide. A reward of up to $25,000 (for each victim) is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible.
This case was closed by MPD on 6/11/2019.
