On Thursday, June 25, 2015, at approximately 3:44 am, Mr. Stephon Perkins was found lying in the street near the intersection of 16th and Galen Streets, SE, suffering from a gunshot wound. Mr. Perkins was transported to the MEDSTAR Unit of Washington Hospital Center where he succumbed to his injuries. The Metropolitan Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in gathering information regarding this homicide.
