On Sunday, June 21, 2015, Arvel Stewart was shot while in the 2200 block of H Street, NE. He was transported to an area hospital in critical condition. On June 23, 2015, Arvel Stewart died as a result of his wounds. The Metropolitan Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in gathering information regarding this homicide.
