On Sunday, March 15, 2015, at approximately 4:53 am, Mr. David Troy Simmons was shot to death in the 2300 block of Hartford Street, SE. The Metropolitan Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in gathering information regarding this homicide.
On April 25, 2015, at approximately 7:50 pm, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant, members of the Metropolitan Police Department’s Gun Recovery Unit arrested 33 year-old Rashad Allen, of Northeast, Washington, DC. Mr. Allen was charged with Murder Two While Armed in connection with the shooting death of David Simmons.
